2025 Free Lunch Grants

2025 Free Lunch Grants in the total amount of $15,000 have been received from the following organizations: Western Lane Community Foundation, Three Rivers Casino, and PeaceHealth Foundation. The Free Lunch Program is an all-volunteer program offering a hot lunch (soup, bread, salad and/or fruit and dessert) every Tuesday and Thursday. Although managed by the Florence United Methodist Church, several churches and civic groups provide staffing each meal day to provide cooks, servers, and set-up & clean-up crews. These grants allow for not only food and general supplies to operate the Free Lunch program, but also provide shower and laundry vouchers, gas cards and bus tokens for the program participants.
